Terms of Service

Last updated 2 September 2026

These terms cover your use of Elow, the household organisation service at elow-ai.com. By creating an account you agree to them. We have tried to keep them short and plain.

The service

Elow helps households coordinate schedules, childcare handovers, tasks, school updates and meals. It is provided as-is and is designed to support your family's organisation, not to replace your own judgement. Always double-check important arrangements (for example who is collecting a child) with the people involved.

Your account

  • Accounts are for adults. You must be 18 or over to create one.
  • You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials private and for activity on your account.
  • When you invite other adults or helpers to your household, you are responsible for making sure they are people you trust with your family's information.
  • You can delete your account at any time from Settings.

Your content

The information you add to Elow — events, people, emails, tasks, meal plans and messages — remains yours. You grant us only the permission needed to store, process and display it to the members of your household, and to operate features you switch on such as the assistant and email processing.

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how it is used, and forms part of these terms.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use Elow for anything unlawful, or to store or share harmful content.
  • Attempt to access another household's data, probe or disrupt the service, or reverse engineer it.
  • Misrepresent who you are when creating an account or joining a household.
  • Use automated means to access the service beyond the integrations we provide.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

AI features

Some features, including the assistant and the extraction of dates and actions from emails, use AI models. AI output can be wrong. Suggestions — such as who could do a handover, or an event pulled from an email — are drafts for you to check, and important ones ask for your confirmation before they take effect.

Availability and changes

We work hard to keep Elow reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may change, add or remove features over time. If we make a change that materially reduces the service, we will give reasonable notice in the app or by email.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Otherwise, and to the extent permitted by law: Elow is not liable for indirect or consequential losses (for example a missed pick-up or a spoiled meal plan), and our total liability to you for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or £100 if you have paid nothing.

Ending the service or your account

You can stop using Elow at any time by deleting your account. We may suspend or close an account for breach of these terms. If we ever decide to shut the service down, we will give at least 30 days' notice and a way to export or remove your data.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections you have where you live.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms we will update the date at the top of this page and, where the change is significant, tell you in the app or by email. Continuing to use Elow after a change means you accept the new terms.
